Mishmi Hills Birding Tour

Mishmi Hills is one of the hottest birding areas in Arunachal Pradhesh and is also part of the mega biodiversity hotspots of the world, the Eastern Himalayas. In addition you will also bird in Dibru-saikhowa National park for some specific wetland and grassland birds. In all you can tick over 200 species of birds in a single trip.

Itinerary:

Day 1:

  • Pick up from Dibrugarh airport followed by drive to Roing.

  • Overnight stay at Roing.

Day 2:

  • Early morning birding in Roing with packed breakfast.

  • Lunch at Roing followed by drive towards Mayodia Pass.

  • Birding along the way.

  • Overnight stay at Coffee house in Mayodia.

Day 3,4,5:

  • Full day birding and stay at Coffee house.

Day 6:

  • Early morning check out from Mayodia

  • Breakfast on the way.

  • Post lunch birding at Maguri Bheel Wetand.

Day 7:

  • Morning birding at Maguri Bheel wetland.

  • Check out and proceed to Dibrugarh airport.

  • Tour ends.
