Birding in Western Arunachal

Dates: 18 - 25 April 2018

Arunachal is one of the hottest birding areas in India with different species of birds divided by the Brahmaputra river. An 8 day trip in the Western Arunachal can easily get you 220 species. One can also visit Nameri National Park in Assam which is enroute.

During this trip you will travel up to a height of 4100m which is Sela Pass which gives an opportunity to cover species right from the plains till above the tree line.

Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati and travel to Nameri National Park.

Day 2: Full day birding in Nameri. Stay in Nameri Eco Camp
Day 3: Early morning departure and travel to Dirang. Birding on the way. Stay at Dirang Tourist Lodge.

Day 4: Birding in Sangthi Valley in the morning to look for Long-billed Plover.

Day 5: Full day birding at Mandala.

Day 6: Full day birding at Sela Pass at 4100m and on the way.

Day 7: Travel to Nameri and Birding on the way. Stay at Nameri.

Day 8: Early morning check out and proceed to Guwahati airport. Tour Concludes.

Charges: Rs.35,000/-

Inclusions: Stay in Nameri and Dirang, all meals, guiding charges, entry fees, Inner Line Permits, all transport and taxes.

 

Exclusions: Flights to and from Guwahati, Any personal expenses, any additional food items, mineral water and other beverages and anything else not in the inclusions.
