This camp site is based in Amboli - Maharashtra on the ridge of the Sanhyadri Mountains at an altitude of approximately 710m above msl. It receives the highest rainfall in the State of Maharashtra and competes with Mahabaleshwar and Matheran as the most visited hill-station in the State.
