Bondla and Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary

This is our most recommended and best-selling birding day trip if you are looking to cover maximum forest species from Goa on a single day. The secondary forest in Bondla coupled with the riparian and semi-evergreen forest in Bhagwan Mahavir Sanctuary can make up for a good chunk of the forest species in Goa.

Key Species: Malabar Grey Hornbill, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Nilgiri Flowerpecker, Grey-fronted Green Pigeon, Malabar Starling, Malabar Parakeet, White-rumped Shama, Flame-throated Bulbul, Yellow-browed Bulbul, White-naped Woodpecker, Heart-spotted Woodpecker, White-bellied Woodpecker, Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher, Blue-eared Kingfisher, Malabar Trogon, Sri Lanka Frogmouth, Jerdon's Nightjar, Asian Fairy Bluebird, Brown-breasted Flycatcher, Forest Wagtail, Velvet-fronted Nuthatch.

Inclusions: Naturalist fees, GST

Exclusions: Bottled Water, Sanctuary entry tickets, Breakfast and travel to the location is not provided in the trip cost but travel and meals can be organized at an additional cost. Bondla zoo has a separate ticket which is not included in the trip cost and will have to be borne by the participant if he/she wishes to visit the zoo.
