Socorro Plateau
Socorro plateau is a unique habitat characterized by rocky terrain and stunted trees. This habitat is a great place to watch raptors, being much more open and expansive. It is also home to very specialized species like Larks, pipits and other birds which are adapted to this terrain.
Key Species: Malabar lark, Oriental Skylark, Blyth's pipit, Lesser whitethroat, Blue-faced Malkoha, Eurasian Marsh Harrier, Pallid Harrier, White-browed Bulbul, Orange-breasted Green Pigeon, Nilgiri Wood Pigeon
